    Super7 has announced that their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 7″ Scale Figures will go up for pre-order beginning on October 1st. Their figures, which debuted at Power Con last month, are based on the classic 1980’s toy line from Playmates. Unlike NECA’s 7″ scale offerings, which are based on their cartoon and live action movie appearances, the Super7 figures take their aesthetic directly from the vintage figures.     McFarlane Toys has released photos and details for two upcoming Mortal Kombat figure variants. The new variants look to be GameStop Exclusives. They include alternate versions Sub-Zero and Scorpion. The Sub-Zero is modeled after his Ice Clone, while Scorpion uses his “Smolder” character skin. The 7″ scale figures each have about 22 points of articulation. They will include a number of character specific accessories. They are currently not up for pre-order via GameStop, but we’ll update when we see those listings go live. They should retail for about $20 each. The figures are due for release in November.     Hot Toys has updated with details on their next Star Wars release. They have revealed their Star Wars: A New Hope – Jawa and EG-6 Power Droid 1/6 Scale Figure Set. The Jawa will stand about 8″ tall and have over 20 points of articulation. The head sculpt feature light up LED eyes. It includes multiple interchangeable hands, a blaster rifle, a welder, a communicator, and a figure stand. The EG-6 Power Droid will stand about 7″ tall, with roughly 8 points of articulation.
